The Band

Robert-Lead Vocals

Robert’s been fascinated by music all through the early stages of his life. David Bowie was his biggest influence with the 1983 release of Let’s Dance that inspired him enough to join high school choir as well as the obsession to track down and listen to every album Bowie ever released.

Robert extensively listened to old record albums like Led Zeppelin, The Who, Boston, Queen, and Pink Floyd. His focus was always drawn towards the lyrics and the vocal melodies in songs.

INXS song “Pretty Vegas” was one of the first songs Robert sang at a karaoke event near his house. Though he has met many people over the course of singing in the studio and through karaoke, the extremely talented people that makeup the Mystified band have become more of a family to him, a family he looks forward to sharing future achievements with.

Theresa-Keys

Theresa has been playing music her entire life. Taught to play the piano at age 6 , she grew up studying classical music.  She joined her first rock band in her early twenties as the keyboardist and vocalist for The Shades from Orange County, CA.  She was also a founding member of the original rock band, Urban Legend recording a self-titled CD.
Theresa is also a featured artist on the FTR Project’s single “Desperate Child."
In 2015, she had the great honor of opening for the 80s band, Berlin as part of the original band, Citizen Joe.
She is currently the keyboardist and vocalist for an Orange County based 80s band. She has played throughout Southern California
including the OC Fair and local festivals.

She is a founding member of Mystified and excited to bring the music of INXS back to their fans.

Angel-Guitar

For Angel Farriss ( lol ), love of music started at a young age, joining the school choir in elementary school. In his teen years he learned to play piano, his first instrument, but afterwards he picked up his first guitar and just like a lyric from a rock song, there was no turning back.

An experienced musician in the cover scene, Angel moves from genres like oldies and classic rock to modern pop with ease. Having an opportunity to play the music of INXS was something he couldn't pass up; his love of the band started in the late 80's when he picked up Kick in cassette form, and it became the soundtrack for his long summer vacation beneath his foamy Walkman headphones.  He embraces technology as a musical tool, running his live setup through a Fractal Audio amp modeler and loves his Fender Stratocaster guitars.

Marcela-Bass

Nurse by day, musician by night. Marcela comes from a long line of musicians but it wasn’t until a few years ago that she decided to give it a go herself. 6 months into guitar lessons and hating it, she picked up a bass and it was instant love. During covid, she even built from scratch the sparkly pink bass you see on stage.

Marcela has played in a few rock bands but this is her first tribute band.

Being very new to playing live music,  Marcela hopes to inspire women and others alike to follow their dreams and to realize, “You are never to old to start something new!”

She is a founding member of Mystified.

Rocky-Drums

Rocky began playing drums and taking private lessons at 12 years old. He started learning classic rock tunes from Rolling Stones to Led Zeppelin. Drums were very easy for Rocky to learn, he was learning techniques and songs very quickly.  Rocky has jammed with great players such as Poncho Sanchez, Bo Diddley, Christy Hemme (WWE), Murv Douglas (Powerman 5000), etc. He has various musical styles from Jazz to Latin, and R&B to Rock. He is endorsed by Los Cabos drumsticks, and has his own signature line. Rocky has really honed in on the Jon Farriss drum sound, and hopes he can make him proud by playing the popular dance beats of INXS. He is a founding member of Mystified.
